Built from robust Dyneema (body) and Durastretch (pockets), this backpack offers smart organization with five easy-to-access external pockets. Large side pockets can carry 1.5L bottles. Smaller side pockets offer quick access to essentials. The back external pouch provides ample space for stowing items like damp clothing. You no longer have to stop to take off the pack to get a drink, a snack, or a device.

The backpack is handmade in Scottsdale, Arizona. PBD (Packback Designs) Ultralight fabricates the backpack, and Vaucluse Gear produces the ventilation frame. 

This 25L Ultralight Framed Backpack offers the best of both worlds: ultra-lightweight and maximum ventilation, ensuring you stay cool and comfortable on your outdoor adventures.

The material is 2.92 oz/yd Dyneema® Composite Fabric. DCF is a patented, ultra-lightweight fabric made of flexible, non-woven composite laminates that are reinforced with Dyneema® fibers. This fabric is 15x stronger than steel and provides the highest tear and tensile strength of any competing fabric on a weight-by-weight and thickness basis. The material offers high performance and is the absolute best in ultra-lightweight, waterproof fabric.

The backpack is an excellent USA-made alternative to popular ultralight brands such as Durston (made in Canada), Hyperlite (Mexico), Zpacks (USA), and Gossamer (Vietnam).

Ventilation Frame: 0.75-inch ventilation frame for maximized comfort and airflow. The frame flexes and bows with the contour and movements of your back.

Back Comfort: A 2-sided mesh sleeve fits around the frame like a sock and provides a layer of cushion.

Backpack Capacity: Close with the "roll down" or "dry bag" method. The total main body is approximately 20 liters. External pockets add another 5 liters.

External Main Body Pocket: Large mesh outer pocket for easy access and drying wet items.

2-Large Side Pockets: Two liter-sized "extra-large" side water bottle pockets with Mesh Pocket Skins for small, easily reachable items. There is no need to take your pack off. Just grab it while you go.

2-Additional Side Pockets: 4 corners 1/2" loops on the bottom of the pack and three on each side of the pack for cordage (sold separately).
