The airflow gap between you and your backpack is a uniform 0.75" (19 mm).

Vaucluse Backpack Ventilation Frames are made from the same material as milk jug containers. High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) is FDA-approved and used to make food containers such as milk jugs. Non-toxic, food-grade, and recyclable. Safe for applications that directly impact humans.

Does not contain BPA, phthalates, heavy metals, or allergens. No harmful emissions were made during production. This product does not contain any Proposition 65 chemicals.

We do not recommend using these ventilation frames for bulletproof vests and body armor used by law enforcement and/or in combat. We have not done tests on the impact effect of a bullet on the vest.
