The backpack is handmade in Scottsdale, Arizona. PBD (Packback Designs) Ultralight fabricates the backpack, and Vaucluse Gear produces the ventilation frame. 

This 38L Ultralight Framed Backpack offers the best of both worlds: ultra-lightweight and maximum ventilation, ensuring you stay cool and comfortable on your outdoor adventures.

The material is 2.92 oz/yd Dyneema® Composite Fabric. DCF is a patented, ultra-lightweight fabric made of flexible, non-woven composite laminates that are reinforced with Dyneema® fibers. This fabric is 15x stronger than steel and provides the highest tear and tensile strength of any competing fabric on a weight-by-weight and thickness basis. The material offers high performance and is the absolute best in ultra-lightweight, waterproof fabric.

The backpack is an excellent USA-made alternative to popular ultralight brands such as Durston (made in Canada), Hyperlite (Mexico), Zpacks (USA), and Gossamer (Vietnam).

Ventilation Frame: 0.75-inch ventilation frame for maximized comfort and airflow. The frame flexes and bows with the contour and movements of your back.
Back Comfort: 2-sided mesh sleeve fits around the frame like a sock and provides a layer of cushion
Backpack Capacity: Close with the "roll down" or "bag" method. The total main body is approximately 38 liters. External pockets add another 5 liters.
